BLOM Bank – A State Of The Art Building
Situated in the heart of Beirut, in one of its busiest streets, rises the newest building holding the latest branch of BLOM Bank. It is a building special to us because of its ambitious outlook, engineered fabricated and installed by Eagle Steel Solutions.
The front facade features a decorative supporting structure for the glass panels that cover the whole exterior. The technical wit in this structure is that it completely blends in with the building’s architectures and provides the support internally while maintaining the decorative external look.
But it is in the back facade that the magic happens. A grand supporting steel structure covered with decorative Aluminum Composite Panels form an architectural 3D wonder. The facade stands tall on the back side of the building adding character and personality to the construction. In reality, that is not all it offers. Underneath all this architectural beauty, a steel structure stands that holds the decorative panels still, facing all kinds of weather and city erosions.
In addition to these facades, internal and external steelworks have been completed in the building, such as steel and stainless steel works, gratings, mezzanines, mesh structure, and more. But most of all, an anti-intrusion steel system was built in order to prevent trespassing and ensure the safety of the premises. In such case, steelworks don’t just aim at the architectural beauty, but also at the safety and security of the construction being built.
